Don’t Panic
You are in good hands and in the right place for making your own jewellery.
We want all participants to have a great experience completing this course so it is important that we share some information with you beforehand.
Your Course & You
This workshop has been designed to be run outside of the jewellery studio, which simplifies the tools and chemicals you will be working with and in proximity to.
You will be shown how to use each tool required by your teacher.
We ask you to be kind to our tools and share tools among the group.
Miss use of tools is where accidents can occur. if you are unsure of any process or tool is it important to ask your teacher to show you again. She is always happy to help students along the making journey and wants to keep you safe during your course.
Your teacher will be there to guide you through the process of making in a step by step approach.
This will require you to pay attention and create a focused space for other learner.
For your Health & Safety
While we would like to say there is no room for error or accidents to happen we are using equipment that comes with some risk factors. It is important we identify these and highlight the risks to you beforehand so we can all be mindful and lower the risk of accidents happening collectively.

Safety glasses will be provided. It is your responsibility to make sure you where them when instructed.
Long Hair will need to be tied up when soldering and using any torches. We can provide you with a bobble if you forget to bring one, please ask.
