In this immersive class, you’ll learn the time-honoured techniques of wax ring carving – from sizing your finger and shaping the wax using specialist tools, to heating and forming your own unique signet ring design. Our expert guidance will help you bring your vision to life, whether you're inspired by imagery in our studio or arrive with your own personal design in mind (feel free to bring printed images at the scale of a signet face).

What makes this experience truly special is our setting. You’ll work in a beautifully positioned workshop that overlooks the historic heart of the Jewellery Quarter, facing the landmark Joseph Chamberlain Clock Tower. With natural light pouring in and panoramic views that tell stories of Birmingham’s rich jewellery-making legacy, you’ll feel part of a centuries-old tradition.

To make the day even sweeter, we’ll take a relaxing break to enjoy artisan teas and a selection of delicious cakes – the perfect moment to connect, recharge, and take in the inspiring surroundings.

This intimate class is limited to just six participants per session and is open to anyone aged 16 and over – making it the perfect experience for mothers and daughters, fathers and sons, or anyone looking to create something meaningful together.
